Amazon Kindle Fire(wearing a new look)

January 18,2013
Amazon Kindle Fire is a mini Tablet Computer owned and developed by Amazon.com in collaboration with Asus. It made its debut in November, 2011. The Amazon kindle fire was greeted with a high user’s acceptance and relatively high turnover than anticipated. It is today rated as the second best selling tablet after the Apple iPad. Over 7million was confirmed sold as at mid October 2012.

The Amazon Kindle Fire at launch was the Google Android 2.3 Operating System (Gingerbread) The Processor is a Dual Core ARM Cortex-A9 which clocks at 1GZH. The internal storage is 8GB and RAM 512MB. It came with 7inch Multi-touch Screen Display (1024x600p). The display resolution suits its size and its output help it gain top place in the tablet market.

Its immediate successor as result of market performance and acceptance came with an upgrade to further strengthen and compete favourable with the likes of Nexus 7 and the Apple iPad which are its greatest rivals.

The upgrade took the Amazon tablet experience from a RAM of 512Mb to 1GB as announces in September 2012. That means a greater capacity and processing speed that now clocks at 1.2GHZ and the Processor upgrade to Android OS 4.0(Ice cream Sandwich).

The Dimensions stands at 190x120x11.4mm and 412g in weight at launched. The audio and video play back quality is something worth commenting on. One of the prides of the new Kindle Fire HD is the Display resolution at 1280x800 and a pixel density of 216ppi which is unequal with the likes of iPad mini.

Amazon Kindle Fire HD is with Wi-Fi connectivity 802.11 b/g/n. A very high internet speed for browsing. Unlike other Android devices, Amazon slightly modify it operating mode as you are allowed to use Amazon search engine as oppose to Google which many saw as not out of place so long as one is able to sail through and get to desired destination.

The Application on Screen arrangement in terms of the icons is note worthy. It makes room for easy navigation and explicit direction especially with the ability to easily return back to searched items.

Great Access to Amazon Application Store and a lot of relieve for those who have a lot of things to buy from Amazon online store. In addition to this users have access to Amazon Prime, Amazon Cloud etc. An inbuilt application interface that make room for direct access to Gmail, AOL Mail, Yahoo, Hotmail etc.

The Kindle Fire HD is price of $159 is great and a strong competitive factor that gave it market reception advantage far above the likes of its competitors . This is more than the value if offers.

Research showed that is slightly above cost of production. Amazon market intelligence resolved at this selling price with the hope of making up through its Application store subscriptions for those applications that are not necessarily free. This by implication pays off as a result of huge market turnover and performance reports from Amazon.com

What kind of Tablet does you currently possessed? Do you wish to get one? Money may not be your problem but a decision factor.
